'Geneva Greeters' is proud to count Favarger as a partner to contribute making Geneva a welcoming town for visiting tourists.

Thanks to the chocolate-maker, the experience offered by the 'Geneva Greeters' becomes even more unique. From now on, each group of visitors will receive a box of Avelines chocolates as a welcoming gift at the end of a visit. What is possibly nicer than receiving a Swiss specialty from a local resident after a tour in the City of Calvin?

The Maison Favarger was founded in 1826 in Geneva. Mr. Favarger was originally a watch-maker who married the daughter of a chocolate-maker; the rest is history. All the production is still made in Canton of Geneva with 100% Swiss milk and 100% cocoa butter.

Favarger chocolates are available in the beautiful and recently-renovated boutique at Quai des Bergues, 19. It is also possible to visit the factory, which is located in the neighbouring village of Versoix (5 min by train from Cornavin train-station). Visits are open to groups of 10 people or more with a booking at least 2 weeks in advance. To book, visitors can send an email to patrimoine@favarger.com
